A backyard pool is a long-term investment. Aquascapes still services pools it built in the 1990s, for many of the same families who first commissioned them.
Every pool Aquascapes has built or serviced since 1994 has a record. Work orders, site diagrams, equipment specifications, liner dimensions. When a homeowner calls about a leak, a renovation, or a property they just bought, the file is already there.
Every Aquascapes build runs on a standardized Hayward equipment platform. The Waterloo retail location stocks the same Hayward and Kafko products that have gone into every Aquascapes pool. When a component eventually needs replacing, the part is already on the shelf.

We inherited a pool from the previous owners. Can you take it on?
Yes. Aquascapes regularly takes on pools it did not build, including pools whose new owners have no documentation. The first visit is a full system assessment, and a complete service record starts from that point forward. Because every maintained pool runs on the same standardized Hayward parts, an unknown pool is brought into the same supported system as one built in-house, usually without waiting on special-order components.
Does Shaun Tully personally stay on-site during construction?
Yes. Shaun personally designs, builds, and oversees every Aquascapes pool. On-site, every day, from first excavation to final handover. Aquascapes deliberately limits the number of builds per season so direct owner oversight is maintained on every project without exception.
What makes an Aquascapes pool last, and how is it supported years down the road?
Every Aquascapes pool is a custom design, engineered to the specific lot and built on-site by the owner. Its durability comes from two deliberate choices. The structure and liner are professional-grade Latham components, including the Kafko line Aquascapes has installed since 1994, selected for longevity over cost, so the pool holds up through Canadian winters for decades. And every Aquascapes pool runs on a standardized Hayward equipment platform, with the Waterloo store stocking those same Hayward parts, so when a component eventually needs replacing it is already on the shelf and many repairs are completed the same day. As a Totally Hayward Dealer, Aquascapes can also offer extended manufacturer warranties that builders without that status cannot.
How far in advance do I need to book a new pool?
Most Aquascapes pools are booked in winter for the following spring season. Build slots are limited because Aquascapes keeps the number of builds per season deliberately small to maintain personal owner oversight on every project. If you are thinking about a pool for next summer, the conversation should start well before the ground thaws. Reaching out in fall or early winter gives you the best selection of start dates.
