Weekly pool maintenance service
Regular maintenance for an operating pool, so you spend more time swimming and less time managing chemistry.
What's included on every visit
- Vacuum the pool
- Skim the pool
- Brush as required
- Backwash the filter
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets
- Test or adjust pool chemistry
- Confirm equipment is operating correctly
- Cartridge and salt cell cleaning as required (additional charge)
Consistent care, every visit.
Every technician arrives with the chemicals and equipment needed for a full visit. Because we run our own pool store, supply is never an issue mid-season. Chemicals are tracked per visit and invoiced at the end of each month.
2026 Pool maintenance rates
Contract rates require a minimum of four weeks. All rates are for service only; chemicals are invoiced separately at the end of each month. Rates apply to our standard service area; additional charges may apply based on location.
| Maintenance rates | |
|---|---|
| Weekly maintenance | $100/week |
| Biweekly maintenance | $180/visit |
| Single visit / heavy spring clean-up | $125/hour |

What's included on every visit
-
Pool cleaning
We vacuum the pool floor, skim the surface, and brush walls as required. Skimmer and pump baskets are emptied on every visit to keep circulation running efficiently.
-
Water chemistry
We test or adjust your pool chemistry every visit to keep the water safe, clear, and easy on your equipment. Chemicals are supplied by us and invoiced separately.
-
Equipment
The filter is backwashed and all equipment is visually checked to confirm everything is running correctly. Cartridge and salt cell cleaning is done as required and billed as an additional charge.
What we need from you
- Access to the pool and all pool equipment
- Access to chemicals supplied by Aquascapes
- Access to a working outdoor tap and garden hose
Maintain your pool's water level between visits. If it drops too low, the pump can run dry and cause equipment damage.
Empty the skimmer and pump baskets as needed between our visits, particularly after heavy rain or wind.
On a windy or stormy day, water quality can change quickly after we leave. That's the nature of an outdoor pool; we do our best on every visit.
Contact us right away if you notice any problems between scheduled visits rather than waiting for the next service.
Do that, and the rest is on us. The pool is there to be enjoyed.

Frequently
asked
questions
Questions about scheduling, chemicals, billing, or what happens between visits? We've answered the ones we hear most often below.
Don't see yours? Give us a call at (519) 886-8751. We're always happy to talk it through.
Do I need to be home during each visit?
No. As long as we have access to the pool, all pool equipment, and an outdoor tap, you don't need to be home. We'll note anything that needs your attention and follow up if required.
What's the difference between weekly and biweekly maintenance?
Weekly maintenance keeps your pool in consistent, swim-ready condition throughout the season. Biweekly service costs less per week, but two weeks is a long time between visits. Water chemistry can drift, algae can establish, and debris accumulates. Most pool owners find weekly service is worth it for water quality alone.
How are chemicals billed?
All chemicals we supply are invoiced separately at the end of each month, in addition to the service charge. We require a current credit card on file for monthly billing. You don't need to stock your own chemicals. We bring what's needed on each visit.
What if there's a storm or a windy day right after you visit?
It happens. Debris, rain, and wind can undo a clean pool quickly. We do our best on every visit, but we can't control the weather between them. If conditions after a storm are bad enough to need attention, give us a call and we can arrange an extra visit.
Can I book a single visit rather than a contract?
Yes. Single visits and heavy spring clean-ups are available at $125 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Chemicals are invoiced separately. This option works well for one-off situations or early-season clean-ups before starting a contract.
What does 'cartridge or salt cell cleaning as required' mean?
If your filter cartridges or salt cell need cleaning during a visit, we'll do it, but it's billed separately from the standard service charge. We'll let you know before proceeding so there are no surprises on your invoice.
What do I need to do between visits?
Keep the water level maintained, and empty the skimmer and pump baskets as needed, especially after heavy rain or wind. If you notice anything unusual between visits, contact us rather than waiting for the next scheduled service.
